Pure Pumpkin encourages students to investigate how both scientific knowledge and media influence our perceptions of food. Using pumpkin as a case study, students explore its nutritional properties, trace how scientific understanding has evolved over time, and critically evaluate how media and influencers shape food choices and health beliefs.
