Fresh Food Schools is a powerful example of how innovative, curriculum-aligned resources can shape young minds and influence future consumer behaviours. This platform was created through a collaboration between the Velisha Education Group (VEG Education) and the Primary Industries Education Foundation Australia (PIEFA), with the goal of supporting effective teaching and learning about Australia’s horticulture industry. The project has been funded by Hort Innovation, using the Vegetable Industry research and development levy and contributions from the Australian Government. Hort Innovation is the grower-owned, not-for-profit research and development corporation for Australian horticulture.
